A number of public libraries as well as community organizations use this

24/7 Reference (Metropolitan Cooperative Library System)
Some of these libraries use staff from 24/7 Reference to provide off hours service. It seems like it is the public libraries that are mostly working within a consortium and the academic libraries are going it
alone.
