MindManager maps for library instruction

Keith Stanger at the Bruce T. Halle Library at Eastern Michigan University posted a comment here pointing out the way he uses maps created in MindManager for library instruction. His maps are so wonderful that I thought I'd highlight them here. On his web site, click on any of the topics listed on the left side of the page under the heading labeled "Finding Print and Internet Resources - Suggested Indexes." For example:

You'll note that on his maps, he's added in links to the individual sources listed. I'm definitely inspired by these!

Hi Stephen,

I came across your "MindManager maps for library instruction" blog entry and think your education, psychology and anthropoloy resource templates would be great additions to Mindjet's map gallery. Mindjet just launched a new Student Solutions page this month: (http://www.mindjet.com/us/solutions/education/students.php?s=10&sn=1) and we're looking to spread the word to college students about the numerous benefits of using MindManager software.

Would you allow us to post your map templates in our online gallery? Our Student Solutions page has 3 student templates at the bottom and quite a few more will be published in the near future. Let me know if you'd like a sneak peak at these now, so you can share them with your University students.

I can be reached at Gaelen.oconnell@mindjet.com

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Gaelen
