Getting published in RUSQ
Diane Zabel, a member of the editorial board of Reference & User Services Quarterly (RUSQ) has written a nice article, "Advice for Prospective Authors," in the current issue of the journal (volume 46, number 2). You can find the article online for free at the RUSQ web site. One thing that I found interesting in her article was that, as a reviewer, Zabel feels she has seen "a disproportionate number of manuscripts relating to library instruction" and authors should consider "an area that has been largely ignored," such as, for example, "access services."
